Anger and Stress Management
Stress and anger often develop gradually, building beneath the surface until they begin affecting relationships, work performance, physical health, and emotional well-being. Some individuals experience chronic irritability, frustration, emotional outbursts, or difficulty calming down once upset. Others may internalize stress, leading to anxiety, burnout, tension, sleep difficulties, or emotional exhaustion. Anger itself is not inherently unhealthy; however, when stress and emotional reactions become difficult to manage, they can interfere with communication, decision-making, parenting, and overall quality of life.

Our therapists help clients identify the underlying causes of stress and anger while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, and regulate emotions. Treatment may focus on emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, conflict resolution, boundary setting, mindfulness, coping skills, and identifying patterns that contribute to emotional escalation. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s needs, we support clients in learning how to respond more effectively to stressors, improve relationships, and create greater emotional balance in daily life.
