Relationships should bring joy, support, and companionship, but sometimes, they can turn toxic without us even realizing it. A toxic relationship drains your energy, diminishes your self-worth, and creates emotional distress. If you're unsure whether your relationship is healthy, here are some key signs to watch out for.


1. Constant Criticism and Blame

A healthy relationship includes constructive feedback and mutual respect. However, it's a red flag if your partner constantly criticizes you, belittles your opinions, or makes you feel unworthy. Blame-shifting, where they refuse to take responsibility for their actions, is another significant sign of toxicity.


2. Controlling Behavior

Does your partner try to dictate who you can see, what you can wear, or how you spend your time? Excessive control is a common trait in toxic relationships and can leave you feeling trapped or powerless.


3. Lack of Trust and Frequent Jealousy

Trust is the foundation of any healthy relationship. If your partner frequently accuses you of dishonesty, monitors your activities, or exhibits extreme jealousy, it indicates insecurity and emotional manipulation.


4. Walking on Eggshells
